Kinetic Road Machine with InRide Issues

I am just getting back into this after years and blowing the dust off my old setup.

Has anyone else been having issues with getting their kinetic road machines with the inride sensor to work properly with zwift. I have tried it with the companion app, directly via ANT + and via Bluetooth. I just can’t seem to get my avatar to move. Cadence shows up, wattage shows up but no speed. I have tried also pairing an ANT + speed sensor then I don’t seem to have the ability to connect a power sensor.

I have tired reinstalling apps, checked and changed batteries, reboot devices , power cycled sensors etc..

Connecting the speed sensor seems to be the only way to allow me to select my trainer model now. But this seems to be leading to other issues like sensor connectivity and slippage errors which seems to be erroneous as I have checked the tension. I am completely stumped and pretty disappointed as my setup worked well for years.

Is your subscription active? They removed the free 25km last summer. If you haven’t paid the avatar won’t move.

lol, Well that would explain it however would be nice if they mentioned that cause I literally was making sure it was all working before resubscribing. Hard to want to resubscribe to something you don’t think works.

If you just want to test everything before signing up again, set up an account with a new email address, do a test ride of 3km or so and see if it’s ok. Then just resubscribe and go back to your old account.

It’s a bit of a faff. It would be better if Zwift allowed for some sort of “test” usage
