Per topic, I have a Kickr v6 that connects to my AppleTV for zwift. I’m interested in the Play controllers, but these take a Bluetooth connection each? I have no plans for heart rate monitoring… my understanding is the AppleTV won’t accommodate the Play controllers for my setup. The Kickr has Bluetooth, could that support the controllers?
I’m trying to avoid the companion app. It’s an additional device that negates the Play controllers…
The V6 supports WiFi pairing to Apple TV so if you don’t use a HRM you can use both Bluetooth connections for the Play controllers.
Apologies for tardiness, I ordered the controllers. I’ve confirmed they require a Bluetooth connection each, but I am able to run one controller in addition to my Kickr on the AppleTV. It’s enough for the time being, crossing my fingers there’s a new AppleTV this year.. with more Bluetooth connections
