Kickr Run support with Zwift is great, but there’s a few things still missing which would be great. Could you add support for the “app control” buttons on the Kickr Run (left arrow, select, and right arrow) for navigating menus, selecting menu items, and selecting route direction at intersections. As well, when used with incline control, can you report climbing and descending metrics into the FIT file so that when uploading to Strava we get proper elevation statistics. Thanks.
Yes. Just received the Kickr Run, updated the firmware but does not report elevation to the fit file!! Amazing omission for such a top spec treadmill.
To be clear, it records elevation gain with incline, but not elevation loss with decline. It would be nice if it recorded elevation loss in addition to elevation gain.
Not in Workout Mode. So if I do a hill rep workout, no elevation data is recorded.
Oh that’s weird, I wonder why that would make any difference. I don’t use Zwift for workouts, I have them programmed on my Garmin but I’ve noticed that elevation gain is recorded both using auto-incline or if I use manual incline adjustments. Unfortunately it seems like Zwift hasn’t done much with the Kickr Run support ever since first introducing it.
