In sim mode (when following a route), I used to be able to manually adjust the trainer resistence on the go by pressing +/- buttons on the keyboard. It seems that this option is gone. I am not using the zwift Cog or electronic shifting. Did zwift remove that option? That option was available in the app as well.
Hi @Daniel_Pree! Welcome to the forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We absolutely understand how useful it is to have shortcuts available to navigate quickly between functionalities and enhance the overall game mechanics.
Regarding manually adjusting trainer resistance using the +/- keys, you’re right that this specific functionality doesn’t currently appear in the official list of Keyboard Shortcuts article. It’s possible this option has been updated.
We recommend checking your trainer settings to ensure everything is configured properly, and if you’re using Zwift in Sim mode, experimenting with the in-app controls or check this article: “Using the Zwift Companion App when Cycling” to see if similar adjustments can be made there. Additionally, feedback like yours is invaluable.
