Its a terminal not a station

I love the ny route as a native new yorker who now lives in Tennessee crusing through the park brought back some great memories. BUT hey Zwift out of respect to my dad who worked in the place for 45 years its GCT or Grand Central Terminal …never never grand central station change it please.

My wife is from NY and she says it GCS and has never heard it called GCT.

Everyone is different and in my opinion neither is wrong.

I’m there twice a day and the official name is definitely Grand Central Terminal. Much of the signage, engraved in stone on the front of the building, and the logo is the letters GCT. The differentiation is that all the train lines (not including the subways) end there, unlike NY’s Penn Station where some trains continue north or south. But, no one ever calls it GCT, just simply Grand Central.

Grand Central Terminal goes by many names, including Grand Central, the Terminal, and GCT. Just don’t call us “Grand Central Station”—that refers to the US Post Office down the street or the subway station below.

Every day’s a school day!

This Brit would most likely have called it Grand Central Station. Now I know better.

Huzzah! \o/

(Although I reckon they should have named it Grand Central Terminus. )
