Would it be possible to use the iOS fingerprint authentication (touchID) to login instead of the password ? Use iPhone or iPad to login with fingerprint but also authenticate login with the iMac or Macbook via the iPhone/iPad. This instead of the username password dialog.
There are apps which allow you to login to your iMac/Macbook xxx via the iPhone touchID.
