Paul! Thank you for suggesting I look at the challenge in game. I did that this morning… the challenge is gone because apparently I finished it. :rofl: I had no idea… I never noticed when I got to the lightening socks so never changed them.. figured I was still on that part but alas… I have graduated to the Aero Lightening Socks and all is well in the world! hahaha

After a short time, the animation starts to annoy you. I mostly wear confetti socks.

But congratulations. It is a year long challenge.

Well done! If the animations from the socks get annoying, you can just ride the mountain routes and you’ll never see them.

I would support this. 1,000 hours for the gravel suit, 5,000 hours of ride time for the road race suit and 10,000 hours for the TT speed suit?

Unfortunately, by wearing the confetti socks, you lose the aero advantage of the aero socks.
We should not have to choose between fun and advantage.
Confetti gloves would make more sense to still be able to have the aero advantage while handing out 2XP confetti to other riders.

I know Zwifters like to match their IRL gear.
The most visible of that is the kit and helmet.
Maybe a rider likes to show off an in game accomplishment, like the level jersey, or 100 mile jersey, or a team jersey.
Some like to match their bike, but given large bike time differences in Zwift, plus upgrades, often one’s preference is negated by necessity due to the performance of a bike in game.

In my opinion that leaves gloves as the logical choice to have “fun” yet still trying to accomodate IRL visual distinction. It’s rare to see what gloves someone has anyway.
