Right click/double click/whatever at any point of the ride on any cyclist’s name brings following choice:

  1. Join that cyclist and start race
  2. Watch race from that cyclist’s point of view.

That dialog “I am done” when stop pedaling obscures names and times so it might have to be resized/moved

    Another twist on this could be,
  2. keep a tracking dot on said rider in the route map so you can keep an eye on how far ahead /behind they are during a race.
