Hi all - I have been a Zwift user for a couple of years; recently, my FTP has shot up to above 300. I know that IRL it is actually about 210; I use a BKool Go trainer which (as far as I know you cannot recalibrate). Any ideas why the power output is so inaccurate? I’ve got the recommended trainer tyre on and train in ambient temperature. I’d like to do a few races but cannot with that inaccuracy. Any ideas? TIA
You need to make sure you carefully follow the manufacturer’s instructions on setup. Key to this for a wheel-on trainer is tyre pressure and the tensioning of the tyre against the trainer.
