In game avatar very slow

(B. Co SoCal Cyclist Podcast-socalcyclist.org) #1

Just set up zwift in the garage. Here’s what I’m working with:

Cycleops direct drive silencer trainer (no rear wheel)

quarq elsa rs powermeter and cadence sensor

latest MacBook Pro

Ant dongle really close to cranks

all hooked up to big screen tv

in game speed is super slow. Getting passed by everyone. Usually average less than 10 mph. I’ll hit a climb and it will read on screen as 1mph the whole climb! Any suggestions on how to fix it? I know this topic has been covered before but so discouraging when I’m moving that slow at 200 watts and 90rpm.

Hi Brian, I’m showing your weight is set to over 700kg, so that would probably be why you’re moving so sluggishly.  :)  There are directions for how to change your settings here: https://support.zwift.com/hc/en-us/articles/206438003-User-Profile-Age-Weight-FTP-

HAHA!

that’s funny you allow someone to input 700kg as weight.

should have some input validation and a range of valid values for that field, don’t you think

People can enter whatever they want.  Zwift caps weight it actually uses to about 400lbs.
