Might be a good idea to have a “start” area that is to the side of the roadway so idles riders don’t clutter up the sprint segment.
I feel like there should be a waiting room / chat room they should get kicked out to. Or the sprint / leader board stuff should ignore their names after x minutes of activity and only add them back if they go through a full 300m segment
Sometimes I’ll login and sit idle to spectate. I watched Taylor Phinney ride for about a 20 minutes last Friday, so I wouldn’t want to lose that ability, although I don’t need to be sitting in the roadway to do so.
We’re with you there. A proper spectator mode is coming and folks will get booted out to that if they’re idle too long. You’ll also be able to log in with the intent of just watching, going straight to spectator mode.
