HRM won’t connect

After an absence of three weeks I tried to conn t to Zwift today. The game updated and everything seemed to work except my HRM would not connect. I tried a few things including restarting my Windows laptop (which runs the game) but all that happened is that none of my devices are recognised (I run a Zwift bike with play controllers and separate Bluetooth HRM). It searches for power source and speed sensor (nothing else) but does not connect. Have disconnected the Kickr etc etc with no resilt

If you’re on 1.111 then did you accept the sharing of HR data? You should get a pop-up window on this. Though perhaps you’re only on 1.110.

Which HRM do you have?

Finally sorted - HRM required consent and had to reset all other devices. Took an hour to sort

I did not get the request which is what caused all the confusion. Thanks for the pointer

Updated. Got the HRM permission pop-up and agreed. But my polar H10 wouldn’t connect. It was working just fine yesterday. I tried resetting the H10 but it still wouldn’t pair.

My trainer pairs fine, it’s just the HRM. Any ideas?

Which trainer are you using? Some offer more HRM pairing options.

I would also expect that pairing it via ANT+ would bypass any of the Bluetooth encryption issues with Polar devices.

Check and see if there is a firmware update for the H10. I have seen others say if needed it helped. We have two H10s and one has been a little cranky recently. It requires several attempts to connect then finally concedes. In the past it never failed to connect on the first try.
