Gradient on companion app PLEASE!

I’ve been away from Zwift for the past year due to injury. I can not believe that they have not improved the companion app at all. Not only would I like to see the gradient, but I would like to see how much farther I need to go until a climb ends. Maybe change the color of the road?

Just started with Zwift and would also LOVE to see an option for a larger profile view with my progress on it, and maybe distance to next summit/KOM if any. I do not find the map in upper right helpful. I can see riders in front of me, and the rider list below, so the map for me doesnt add value. That said, Zwift is a huge improvement over my non-smart old-school Cyclops trainer, I no longer dread the basement and get a MUCH better work out in 30-60 minutes than I ever got before.

Can we have this basic feature? The app displays a bunch other information but somehow elevation is not important to the rider?

i was asking about this 3 years ago - maybe one day it’ll happen but not going to hold my breath.

For all we know, the reason for not having the gradient on the CA is that gradient doesn’t matter for ERG workouts, and a lot of people do ERG workouts in Zwift.
I don’t buy that, but, it is a theory.

Prefer riding without the HUD on screen but then one doesn’t see the % elevation. It would be nice to have % elevation displayed on the companion screen while riding. There’s a lot of good info already there, and still a little room for this one item.

Requested 100’s of times.

A hundred more and maybe it gets done?

I had searched, but only “elevation” occurred to me, seems “gradient” and “grade” are more appropriate (and more often used).

I like to hide the display when riding and just use the Zwift companion dashboard to gauge my effort but feel there’s one vital metric missing: Incline, the percentage of the climb or descent. Without this there’s a noticeable delay and sometimes it’s hard to determine if you are losing power and need to push on or if you are starting a climb.

It’s distracting to keep toggling the H key on and off to see the incline. Anyone else see value if having this added?
