Game update v1.95 [August 2025]

That would be counterproductive - people will then try to find more ways around whatever limitations Zwift puts in place.

That Zwift spent time and effort putting in checks says enough.

You get 3 km credit when joining another rider on a big climb. Even if you turn and ride uphill or flat, only 3 km count toward upgrades. There’s still a shortcut but it’s not as productive as Ventoux downhilling at over 60 km.

snagged someone else’s alpe request and added D44 and D211 coming off of the main climb for bail out options and bonus routes

Thank you for your helpful response

Here’s the post where I dug into the idea with some tests: Testing Zwift’s New Bike Upgrade “Anti-Cheat” Measures | Zwift Insider

Thanks Eric. As typical I saw this article 20 minutes after posting my question.

I appreciate your effort in digging into these topics but I would really just love Zwift to officially come out and say these things. “If you teleport you get 3km credit only” Is that so hard?

I feel Zwift spends too much effort trying to make everyone happy.

Yeah, I get it. But on Zwift’s side… they know if they spell out exactly how it works, people will find it even easier to push the system to its limit.

A little mystery makes it much harder to game the system. For example: “If you teleport you get 3km credit only” was stated above… but that’s not actually precisely how it works. It’ll be fun to watch the “cheaters” spin their wheels thinking that’s how it works, though!

time to start charging drops for every teleport after the second one, 100,000 drops each.

It’s sad that now the teleport hack is closed off that the bots and teleporting to robopacers are rampant. See the comment on the Zwift Insider article about Ventop.

I’ve not seen so many on ADZ, probably because it is too short for their liking.

I didn’t say everything I know.

Yeah that would be really cool and would also possibly increase traffic there: alone by the ability to create new route badges.

If you think that one is narrow take the road on the other side of the valley, entering from the back of Bourg leading up to Villard-Notre-Dame (and then further up to Col du Solude)!

Did that all several times.

Generally, every roadbike enthusiastic should visit that area once in his life

Agreed. The ride up to Huez on the “highway” up through the switchbacks was actually the “worst” part of riding in that area. Short of the mythical legacy from Le Tour, it’s a one and done climb for me but I’d be happy to return to the valley and check out the other surrounding mountain roads. That being said, my eldest daughter is named after the Col de la Madeleine, so that area is special to my family.

You named your daughter “Col”, sweet

Does it matter if it’s Cole instead of Col?

I would love to know if the M-series iPads now run the equivalent of “Ultra” like M-series MacBooks. I have an M4 MacBook Pro and it’s been working great ever since the recent update for its graphics, but with these updates I get tempted to buy an iPad Air (I guess that’s an M3) mostly to dedicate to Zwift. Can anyone compare a MacBook Pro and an iPad side-by-side?

Still no W/Bal

The skybox and associated light sources are ticking along once per second instead of moving smoothly, it’s pretty jarring. Stars, moon, shadows, etc. all affected. Started I believe in 1.94. Windows, ultra profile.
