Most of the older Garmin watches don’t support Bluetooth HR broadcast, so depending on which watch you have that could be the reason.
What is the make/model of the power meter?

It’s a 4iii crank arm power meter. It works on Bluetooth for FulGaz but not on Zwift
The Garmin is fairly new as I bought it last year (Venu 3S). I think it worked on FulGaz as well but can’t remember for sure - I don’t have a subscription to the service right now. I have an extra arm band instead of the watch I can use in the meantime…
I tried Arend’s suggestion from the other post of unplugging and plugging back in the ANT+ dongle - but I won’t know until mid ride whether it works or not. I can try ordering another ANT+ dongle to confirm mine isn’t dying. It’s just the timing of it with the update … although it doesn’t seem to be affecting most.
The Venu 3S does support Bluetooth HR broadcast according to Garmin. Are you using the process described here:
Yup! I’ve been doing that since I got the watch and it pairs with Zwift but only through ANT+ … When I use my armband, Zwift shows both the option to connect via ANT+ and BT but with the Venu ANT+ is the only option. FulGaz seemed to pick up the Venu BT connection but I can’t confirm if it works as I don’t have a paid subscription to the service anymore.
I’ve been using my Garmin head unit to pick up HR and cadence info after they dropped off Zwift mid ride. I’ll dual record my next ride from start to finish so I capture the data in case the devices fail on Zwift.
I guess maybe the next step is for me to uninstall and reinstall Zwift and start from a “clean slate”.
ANT+ transmissions can be read by multiple devices, but Bluetooth pairings are limited by the device, so it’s not unusual to have some other thing paired to the device that will prevent Zwift from pairing to it. That could happen when more than one app is trying to pair to the watch, or if it’s paired to the internal Bluetooth settings on any device.
Just observed two oddities on my Surface Pro 4 running Zwift…
The ANT+ dongle wasn’t functioning when Zwift started up. Unusually, unplugging the dongle and re-plugging it in got things working (in past, if dongle got disturbed inside Zwift, I would have to close Zwift and restart it to get ANT+ back).
When I saved my TOW ride on the Surface Pro 4, instead of taking me back to the home page, Zwift shut down.
When riding the La Reine route, the Ventoux KOM banner hangs out on the left side of the screen despite not being able to complete that segment.
Aren’t there more like this elsewhere in Zwift? I am thinking there is a similar situation in London, where the leaderboard shows up, but you can’t actually get a time if you approach from the ‘wrong’ direction at the bottom.
Neokyo does that also on the Rooftop KOM. You see the KOM banner list for the Rooftop KOM when riding the reverse side that doesn’t have a timed KOM.
There’s a ton of issues like this with leaderboards throughout the various worlds, some of them going back a long, long time.
It’s just the architecture of routes and roads. The segment leaderboard visibility seems to be purely based on “Is there a segment finish banner on the road I’m on, going in the proper direction?”. It doesn’t know or care if you entered the road at a point beyond the start of the segment nor if your route will turn you off the road before it gets to the banner.
Maybe this is something the ZHQ team should look into fixing then
My Zwift Click constantly loses connection. Everything else works fine—no issues with power or cadence drops—but I just can’t shift with the Click. I tried repairing it, and the device doesn’t disconnect from my MacBook, it just doesn’t shift. It’s almost 2 months old, so it’s not an old device. Has anyone experienced the same issue or have any ideas?

Weekly Streak maths - at end of ride I was on 364 to level 100, 500xp bonus applied I’m now -136 from level 100 ![]()
niche issue I guess #zwiftmaffs lol
Unfortunately Zwift doesn’t work on my Macbook M4 with mac OS 15.2 / 15.3. Can’t ride anything… ![]()
I go to any route/area and it crashes immediately.
Very odd Pacer behaviour today. I joined Yumi in Douce France from the home screen. I got a screen message that the route no longer existed, but I was dropped into the Yumi group. The mini map showed my progress, but suddenly the group took a different turn to me. So I teleported back (got the same message that my route choice no longer existed) and continued with Yumi. This happened about 3 times in the hour ride. Not a big deal, but a bit tedious.
I had a similar message when I joined Coco in Watopia this morning. I thought it was “destination” instead of route but might be mistaken. It was early. No issues with getting dropped from the group via wrong turns though.
Same here, been happening eventually since the previous update I think.
