In other particularly interesting news, some visual changes are already in Paris for anyone that hasn’t noticed, including map update along with some barriers being moved around; specifically near the start/finish arch, the road has been opened across the road Place de Concorde (this is visible in the map image below)
Paris update was last slated to release on the 26th of this month.
Noticed another connection at the top near the Arc.
There’s also a sprint segment that came and went, wonder if they’re the same ones from here.
It was titled “Tchou Tchou sprint” and listed on 7 routes… so fortunately lots of split routes coming out of Paris.
update:
Tchou Tchou Sprint, Église Sprint, Montmartre KOM, Monceau Sprint
are the coming segments.
Added in black the road connections that already appear in Zwift.
Montemartre is roughly double the elevation from the Seine to the Arc looking at mapping data.
110ft ASL, 230ft ASL, then Montemartre somewhere near 400ft ASL
This is
Cadence (RPM)
Heart Rate(BPM)
Split Average Power
Power to Weight (W/KG)
The split icon has what looks like an itty-bitty tiny analog clock face.
The new icons do NOT show up in the Settings menu when selecting the metrics to show on the HUD.
I haven’t changed any settings on my zwift or pc, but had the update on zwift and noticed today, that whilst riding around 2 bridges loop with Robo Pacer, that on the sprint over the bridge, the placing board has gone missing. It doesn’t show up as to your position in the sprints. I have photos on my zwift of my results on each sprint, but no top riders menu.
had you recently used the ride stats button to get your 1 min, 5 min, 20 min, etc… power to display on the side? We call it the “stonehenge” button from the lower pop-up menu. Click it once to display the ride stats, click it a 2nd time to turn off ride stats (but it also turns off the leaderboards), click it a 3rd time to bring back the leaderboards. Note if you aren’t near a sprint/KOM when clicking it a 3rd time it does nothing, so you just have to trust that you actually did click it a 3rd time until you get near a sprint and the leaderboards pop up again.
Really not your fault. It’s not very clear what happens when you press the button or exactly what state you are in. I know Zwift are looking at improving this.
Distance to route completion bug still exists when joining pace partners. Did a few laps with coco and it happened every time at this spot. Then stuck at zero m to go until about 2km from the line in the desert to start a new lap at which point it’s correct again
It seems that the workout main timing bar doesn’t change colour anymore according to the zone you are in.
My last 2 workouts have been showing grey no matter how hard I’m working. The wee floating screen in front of my avatar still displays the correct colours.
Also, the Tron bike now defaults back to orange anytime I enter my garage, even to change jerseys. I usually have it set on the pink/blue two tone.
