Game Update v 1.112 [April 2026]

Hello Zwifters!
Phased rollout of game version 1.112 begins today to macOS / Windows / Android devices.
Phased rollout to tvOS / iOS begins tomorrow.

All Platforms

  • The level cap for cycling and running will rise before the end of the month. When live, will see a new stripe signifying riders nearby who have reached level 100 and deserve a Ride On.
  • Corrected the weight of the Cervelo Aspero 5 bike frame.
  • The Princeton Carbonworks Wake 6560 wheels in the Lava (red) colorway now have the same weight (:star::star::star::star:) as the wheels in the White colorway.
Fixed an issue that could cause the Elite Square smart frame controllers to appear twice in the Pairing screen.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the background images on Home screen cards to load slowly.
  • Removed the notification sound that plays when a mutual friend starts riding in the same world as you.

Windows, macOS

Windows

  • Fixed an issue that could cause group workout events like Zwift Camp: Breakthrough to not work properly in some situations.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when exiting Zwift.

Apple App Store

  • The app notes specify a launch date for the level expansion. The launch has been pushed back slightly to fine tune the experience after feedback.

How does that look ? Will it be in the playerpanel on the right or something in the screen itself ?

It would be nice to see a representation of the new stripe for level 100 riders.

I saw that on ZI as well - it should be shown here by Zwift.

It should. We all know someone is going to ask about it.

And while it may take a while before we see it for the first time, supposedly you earn a new century stripe for every 100 levels you complete.

From the ZI article.
I wonder how many stripes Zwift has programmed into the rider name area.

Yet another delayed levelling up scheme. So wrong

10 Years and 3.4 Million XP: My Piggy Bank is Full!

I’ve been around since the Beta days—back when we probably used wooden wheels and black-and-white monitors. After over a decade and 3.4 million XP, I’ve become a world-class expert at having my points “stolen” and put into the Zwift vault. It’s truly the only bank where you make a deposit and then have to do 5,000 burpees just to look at your own money!

If these new levels mean my points are getting kidnapped and “banked” yet again, I might finally take the hint that it’s time for this old Beta tester to go test the fresh air (or at least a different app). I’ve done my time in the XP laundry cycle, and my legs are tired of earning the same levels twice. Let’s skip the heist this year and just let those 3.4 million points run wild! My bike is ready for a new horizon if the vault closes on me again.

Delayed how? It was promised in April, it’s still April for 9 more days. Yeah, it would’ve been nice if it were a couple of weeks ago because I’d be 101.5 instead of 100.5 right now…but they’re obviously waiting until this version is fully rolled out and then will flip a server-side switch and enable it for everyone. It’s always “wah someone else got it before me because of where they are in the random rollout” now it’s “wah I have to wait a few more days after I get the update for this.”

Who cares

From ZI: “Any extra XP you have over 807,000 at level 100 for cycling or XP over 149,000 at level 30 for running is banked and applied toward accelerated leveling. Cyclists with banked XP will accelerate through levels 4 times faster and runners will accelerate 2 times faster. You’ll know accelerated leveling is active if you see the three-chevron icon next to your rider score.”

If 4x isn’t fast enough for you…I dunno, go ride more and burn off some of the stress you’re living with.

I think he means ‘delayed’ in the sense that people will have to work through all of their ‘banked’ XP, as opposed to being immediately moved to the appropriate level to match their current XP, this resulting in a ‘delay’.

Probably right. Though this is the fastest (and probably final) accelerated leveling scheme we’ve seen. Don’t like it? Ride more. Not like levels matter.

Sorry, but this is very lame. How hard would it have been to make seamless leveling up to, say Level 500? I don’t understand why Zwift can’t handle something so basic and simple (design a few extra jerseys and socks!). I’ve been stuck at Level 100 for a long time. This really makes me Rouvy curious. Not sure why Zwift doesn’t seem to think rewarding your most avid users is important. And it’s not even clear how it will work. Lame.

Well, I’m Level 118 right now. Closing in on 119. I’ve been keeping track of the bonus invisible levels after 100 which we get every 20000 XP. I guess accelerated leveling can be a new entertainment on Zwift!

The way I look at it, I’m at level 100 and the day after the update I will have the opportunity to get to 101 with more riding. No matter how much I’ve ridden beyond the point of level 100 XP already (and no I’m not going to work on spreadsheets when I could be riding) that’s the reality that has always been with us.

Just putting that here so I can check back in the future to see where I started from.

That’s 526,343 over 807,000 so at 20k per level I guess I am at a theoretical level 126.
