If you see the gear number on the Zwift HUD but shifting doesn’t change resistance, and you have a Kickr Core V1 trainer, you should use the Wahoo app and try changing the wheel size setting to anything.
I somewhat agree, but if you decide to deviate from the route selected, and continue up Ventop, the segment HUD would be appropriate.
I haven’t tried going up Ventop from the other side of Petit KOM - does the segement HUD show if you make that left turn, since you didn’t go through the start of Ventop KOM?
Yes it does. To your first point, I was in an event and making the turn off the route to go up Ventoux is not possible.
yep - I found that too and I tried it. no luck
In that case - I completely agree, it was not appropriate for the segment HUD to show.
And thank you for confirming that the segment HUD would show. I was curious about that.
The Yumezi Grit route is still showing up as “Unknown” in Zwiftpower…
The new Companion app Home screen (daily riding habit section) is very intrusive.
It pushes key elements down and forces scrolling every time.
Please add an option to disable it or restore the previous compact layout.
The “Next Up” section with the descriptive paragraph (daily riding habit text) on the Companion app Home screen is intrusive and unnecessary.
This text block pushes key elements down and forces scrolling every time.
It also feels generic and not based on real training data.
Please make this “Next Up” text section optional or removable.
Apologies if my AI friend has this all wrong. As a beta Zwift adopter and here since, where is the special badge or whatever? I remain at level 100 and can’t really fathom what if anything has changed that is meaningful.
Please convince me not to ask my AI friend to enable me to ride on my Zwift Ride on Wahoo and to have an extra £20 per month to spend on the essentials in life.
Code on!
Dave.
It hasn’t changed yet. It was promised for “April” …
… and I think there are two more updates still to roll out in April.

Also, when a TSoZ announcement puts a date on a feature release, I would not treat that as a promise. More like “this will probably happen soon but release date may change”
Many thanks. No doubt coming with the (2016) promised rowing rollout. Lol
Ride on and many thanks again,
Dave.
And the July 8 2024 ZRS announcement:
“Provide a better view of score history and how it changes over time.
We are planning to introduce a view for viewing your score history. We’re already tracking full history in our backend, it’s just a matter of implementing a view of this.”
Zwift have a history of not backing up their words with action.
The “Next Up” section with the descriptive paragraph (daily riding habit text) on the Companion app Home screen is intrusive and unnecessary.
This text block pushes key elements down and forces scrolling every time.

It’s really interesting that literally every single comment and suggestion from users regarding the “up next” feature is some variety of “please let me turn some or all of this off.”
Exactly. It seems many users feel the same.
This should definitely be optional, especially for users who prefer a clean and efficient Home screen.
Apart from my mention/request of adding a W/Bal type metric to the HUD dsiplay, I would like to add being able to map the down arrow key from U-TURN to REARVIEW please.
Yep I’m following a TrainerRoad plan. Why isn’t it showing me the next scheduled workout?
Same here.
I’m Antonello and I’m following the “Build Me Up” training plan.
The “Next Up” suggestions don’t match my workouts at all and just create confusion.
They also take up space and push down key elements.
If not aligned with real training plans, this section should be optional, removable, or moved lower.
Example from today.
This “Next Up” suggestion changes daily and still doesn’t match my “Build Me Up” plan.
Oh come on Dave, they did deliver the start pens, and left them hanging around Watopia waters to tease us for years (are they still there? they were about 18months ago I think but care factor long gone to even look). Like all feature releases, we seem to get about half the promise before they move on to the next shiny toy.
Rowing was scuttled by layoffs.
