Game update v 1.102 [November 2025]

Subject: Zwift RunPod – Issue fixed in 1.102? Was this an intentional fix?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been struggling with severe connection problems with the Zwift RunPod for several recent updates. On most versions the pod would pair, but the connection dropped immediately when starting to run. Only one version (1.99) in between temporarily worked again.

With update 1.102, my RunPod finally works properly again — which I’m very happy about.
However, the release notes only mention “General stability improvements”, and there is no specific reference to Bluetooth or RunPod-related fixes.

My question:
Was this issue actively fixed in 1.102, or is this just a coincidence and the problem might return with the next update?
It would be great to know whether the RunPod functionality is officially being maintained.

Thanks!

Totally agree on this point. The animations were bad enough, then they got worse, again, and again, and again, combined with the emojis. I end up hitting the H button a lot of the time, but even this is ineffective for these things.

It makes me really appreciate how things are done on TrainingPeaks Virtual. Not only are there no confetti graphics and ride on thumbs and nonstop notifications and the like, it also offers a wonderful Zen Mode where you can shut off everything aside your own training. I wish Zwift offered something like that, especially now with all of these UI “enhancements” that I can’t disable, I find myself using it quite a bit less than I was, which is fine, really.

I needed to do something else anyway.

Are there any plans for a graphics improvements for Apple TV?

The most promising sign is that some improvements came to devices with the A19 CPU (eg, iPhone 17). But none of the lower-spec iOS/iPadOS devices got anything yet AFAIK and the upcoming Apple TV device won’t have an A19.

In a group ride, as we were coming around the bend on Richmond Rollercoaster for a second lap, a bunch of riders quickly vaporized into the air above. I caught it in a video screenshot, so it is possibly game engine related, instead of rendering system related.

Here’s another:

THE RAPTURE. They went to heaven, or the other place?

I heard it in a commercial: “Heaven… and the other place… have merged.”

So, yes!

It’s just a minor thing, but… As one who also runs on Zwift, is there any chance that Zwift Camp Build Headphones Headband Combo can be made able to be equipped for Running, like many other Zwift headphones are? This would be cool to run with!

I am still getting incorrect activity names with robo pacers. I just rode with Constance and the activity name is “The Fan Flats in Richmond“ instead of “Pacer Group Ride: The Fan Flats in Richmond with Constance“.

@GlennVL
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Looking through your server logs, I’m seeing you logged in to the game from two different PC’s - one with a Ryzen 7 series CPU and the other with a Ryzen 9. Don’t do that. Simultaneous logins from two different machines will have all create all sorts of weird issues like that.

We strongly recommend you uninstall the main Zwift app from everything except the device you wish to run the app so you eliminate the risk of concurrent sessions.
