Yes the routes should become available next week. The reason we need to wait a few days is because if users with old game versions join a meetup on the new routes, their game client will not have the new roads. This is not ideal as you can imagine.
We wait for a good portion of the user base to update their game client before making new routes available, to lower the likelihood of this issue occurring.
