Just tried it, it’s double click and in Watopia it never gets close to the extreme zoom I gave an example of.
Again, this is an old issue that only happens in some specific parts of Makuri. As soon you leave that area, the extreme zooming goes back to normal. Watopia is fine.

I said that already. I was replying to Gerrie’s advice that didn’t address the issue so he or another moderator can move it to an appropriate thread. I discovered a new feature though which is neat, thanks @Gerrie_Delport_ODZ
I know I’ve probably missed it, but if you could let me know where or at a specific distance on a specific route, I can see if I have the same problem.
It happened with Coco yesterday evening on island hopper. Most of the route but not all.
Is there a way to force the update on PC if I haven’t received it as part of the phased rollout yet? Checking for updates from the launcher says no updates available.
You’ll always download the latest update if there is one available on the launch of the client.
I rode country to coastal yesterday with Maria and noticed it at the beginning of the ride, I joined the group just as they were starting the climb up to the lap banner (the temporary one, not the permanent banner). I had to click on the map numerous times to get it back to my preferred zoom level, seemed like it took 2 clicks for it to change the zoom level each time. I believe it was happening on the climb up to the temple area past the demon hand.
Also, I had never noticed this issue until yesterday, on 1.41
I will later today while biking over Makuri. I will take photos of my ride and post them here. Fine and Sandy and Mech Isle Loop come to mind.

Has 1.42 been pushed to all servers? I’ve tried a Mac update several times but still have 1.41. Similarly for the App Store. Thanks.
Only to 10% of PC and Mac so far.

Does this fix the issue where if you tap the screen to bring up ‘quit event/menu’ it flashes up then disappears, then you have to tap again to bring up the menu?
