Game Update 1.21 - January 12th, 2022

Talking to other Zwifters, a growing amount them share my opinion that you guys should focus more on enlargment of “real UCI race inspired” new routes. For exemple “Primavera” or “Flandria” or “Northern Cobbles” or “Arden Hill”… copying big parts of Milan-San Remo, Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix or LBL. That, combined with a scenery envolving crowds, teamcars, motorcycles would give great new energy to Zwift and turn it into the ultimate virtual race-experience. Now, certainly with that Makuri, it looks more and more like “Alice in Wonderland” mixed with a growing number of clownesk looking cyclists. Stay connected to real cycling and its races please !!!

It is network issue. Zwift rider list relies on UDP protocol to update in real-time. Unlike TCP, UDP is datagram based without a real “connection” and packet loss is harder to be defected or fixed. This makes rider list more prone fail on any network imperfection. Plus all rider list servers are physically located in AWS facilities in US. IMHO they shall really work on a v2 version to make it more robust.

check the post two above yours ^^

Thanks it wasn’t clear from the update notes.

Will the Wahoo Climbing Mission count towards the Everest Challenge if you have Everest selected or will it be treated like a separate challenge eg: Ride Italy or Ride California? Thanks.

I’d guess it’ll run as a separate mission like it did in 2018 but the meters will also count for the Everest just like any other ride

Yes it will. This is a mission, which is different from a challenge.

Delete the app and then reinstall it. You will then see the updated version.

Disappointed, I was expecting to see “So long, and thanks for all the fish.” :joy:

Deer get their “proper” color but basic things like the PD curves can’t be corrected after, how many months of these being known issues? I mean, why even try to offer a brief post ride data analysis if it’s fundamentally flawed? lol

@shooj Will the Shimano Dura-Ace “Bug” be fixed any time soon? Or is that a permanent “feature”?

Are there plans to work on the flashing riders when a large number riders are in an event?

Hi.

I’m just waiting for the zwift resolution to be updated from hd to fhd.
If updated, my ftp might go to 300 lol.

There are 2 billion Android users worldwide.
Please help them ride in High Definition Watopia

Best regards,
Dongwoo

If that doesn’t help, you could also try putting your ride file in Zwiftalyzer and see if anything weird pops up. Zwiftalizer 2.0

I’ve had a similar issue. Once it was network problems. Another time it was a bad Nvidia driver. Not sure if you said what os you’re using, but I did a clean windows install and that fixed it. (There’s probably an easier way but that worked best for my situation).

Agree! Keep it, please!

I’m wondering why you call some of these new routes flat? I live in Florida and flat is 20 miles with 0 elevation. Castle to Castle was called Flat by you and is 460’ climb over 15 miles. Be a good company and build a total flat route. Just one, out of 100’s available is reasonable .
