Feature request : Zwiftpower event filter on catgorization type

I am currently a Zwiftracing.app Ruby rider, a Zwift Racing Score 845, and due to my weight and 20 min avg. w/kg of just over 4,2 a Cat B rider in the classic sense.

Most of my time on Zwift is spent racing, but in category A on any route with any significant gradient, I am most likely dropped the moment the big guns decide to push the pace.

Lately a few race organizers have opted to go back to the classic categories. And even though I pride myself of being able to dip my toes in Cat A at 55 years of age, I must say being able to sit in the front group is more fun.

Could you please make it more transparent which races use what type of categorization? Maybe even a way to filter events based on that?

You should expect nothing further from ZwiftPower because it’s being allowed to die, but you can search for events with your preferred category system in the ZwiftHacks events app: https://zwifthacks.com/app/events/

On the Rules tab, you can select either “ZRS based categories” or “Power curve based categories”

Does this help - you can filter by tag and it has richer metadata. Events

I’m in a similar boat where I’m above B but below A+ and have limited chance on most races. I like the longer stuff where people aren’t just waiting to unleash a 5min effort.

Thanks! :+1:
