I love the Climbing Portal and getting KOMs. Seeing distance and time behind me are not that helpful when gauging how close another rider is in one’s category. Eg, In Beleach this week and riding Heroic, a rider was creeping up on me 14 minutes back, as close as 8 minutes, with three gates left. I had the KOM the entire way up but could have blown it … in the case of that ride, those last few gates are steep inclines. It would be great to see actual gates passed.
