Faulty trainer, now Cat B for 90 days

I’m a new rider and started with zwift using a crappy old trainer with Bluetooth support. After a couple of workouts I realized that the power data cannot be correct. My FTP was suddenly above 400W and racing score is 680.

I upgraded my setup to a kickr core and sure enough my FTP is just 250 and I should probably race in D.

With the recent change your racing score is using the maximum effort of the recent 90 days. This means I’m stuck with cat B for 3 months ?! I want to race, but me in a Cat B is not a race, it’s riding solo.

Any ideas ?

Email zwiftpower@zwift.com and ask if they will correct it

That old trainer would be just the thing for attacking the ADZ segment leaderboards.
