Faulty hub. Flashing red light. Brand new hub

I think my hub is faulty.
It will not be found on Bluetooth - isn’t coming up or comes up sporadically. I have tried to update firmware as it’s a brand new hub and now I just have a solid red light.
I have tried turning off and on (and leaving off, then on again) however solid red light remains.
Now it is discoverable to the companion but just has a flashing red light.
So disappointed as this was an expensive purchase and it’s just not working.
Please can someone assist.

Contact Zwift support. They’ll probably send you a new one.

mine was an older hub, which has had previous updates. similar red flashing led, after sep firmware upate, no ZC connection, after contacting support a replacement is being sent.
