ERG mode not working - Big Sur Update

Looking for a bit of guidance as to the logical method to tackle this issue. The ERG mode is suddenly not working for me during a workout. I have a JetBlack Volt trainer with a MacBook Pro, macOS Big Sur operating system. Perhaps a coincidence, but this seemed to match the time that I updated to Big Sur. The ERG mode works with the JetBlack App. I also have updated the firmware and did the calibration. I also reinstalled Zwift but to no avail. Right now I am just trying some random stuff, but really don’t know what makes sense. Any suggestions on things to try? Thanks!
