- should this work? From the Google emoji library, using a Mac. I am trying to add it to Zwift on the Mac and I get just ‘??’.
Displaying emojis works fine when someone else puts them in chat, for instance. I can’t figure out how to get anything to work when I type it, though. This was a copy/paste from the google emoji library into this window here (where it seems to work) and to Zwift (where it does not work).
Does the Mac have a native built-in emoji picker? For example, on Windows I can use Win+;.
A quick Google suggests Ctrl+Cmd+space or 
key should work.
That might work better than copy/paste from somewhere else.
Yes a single press and release of the function key will bring up the Character Viewer (emoji picker) if the Keyboard settings are still at the default:
Crazy. because the announcement said “We use Google Emojis” I didn’t even consider using the Mac-native ones. Thanks - that’s the fix.
