I bought a Justo 2 this weekend and updated the firmware to the latest version. As a result, the ERG isn’t working in Zwift. Well, it seems to be working, the effort seems to change, but the set power level doesn’t hold. The power jump ant trainer didn’t hold it. I had a Wahoo Kicker a year ago, and the power level stayed firmly at the set level during training, no matter what gear I was in. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? Wi fi or ble connection, same problem.
Does the power fluctuate around the target power for the interval or is the power off the target completely?
I‘m asking because the Wahoo trainers have a setting to smooth reported power in ERG mode. That’s artificially smoothed though, not really the power that you’re producing
You’ve given me an interesting thought. I’m a human being, not an electric motor that produces consistent power. It would be strange to see consistent power unless the trainer itself can regulate it instantly. As for how my power fluctuates, it looks exactly like the one in this video, only with a direto trainer if you find video on YouTube named: Elite Direto XR ERG mode problems
Alexey - There is an ERG toggle in the Companion app (while zwifting go to “GAME” on the sandwich menu upper right that you can investigate. It might be set to be manual. As a result your workout can be done either auto-power (ERG) or via feel.
