We acquired an old bike for use with Hub, but the rear dropouts are too narrow to mount the bike to the Hub. The Hub came with two measuring cards, one for quick release and one for thru axle. We have successfully mounted a bike on the Hub with the quick release card, but the old bike’s dropouts we want to mount are 1 cm (1/3") narrower.
Any ideas of how to mount the old bike? We could try to physically bend or wedge the dropouts wider, but it’s not clear that doing that would work because then the angle of the mounts would change, meaning we’d have to bend them back as well. The frame is probably steel so that bending effort is probably non-trivial, at least with our available tools.
