When hitting the downhills; my pedals seem to spin out. Like I need to be in a better gear to control them.
Why is this happening? People on zwift are able to pass me out, but I cant seem to control on the down hills.
Thanks for any feedback
Are you using a relatively high trainer difficulty %?
Many users, especially racers, will typically use 25-40% difficulty, which allows them to put out far more power downhill than 100% difficulty.
What gearing do you have on the bike?
If it’s intended for climbing mountains then it’s fairly natural that you’ll spin out downhill.
I’m using 100% trainer difficulty and don’t end up spinning out downhill.
You still see occasions where someone will take off downhill suddenly faster than expected, they go from normal descent speed to “warp speed” without putting out any more power.
