Does Zwift need VAR?

Hello all,
I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced anything like this before. I am sure I lost this race (you can watch footage on the YouTube video below) but yet to my amazement I was positioned first?! I feel really sorry for the guy who won (it would have been his first win) - is it time for Zwift to adopt VAR?!

You can watch the video on my You Tube channel - search for Nifty Fifty Zwifty

I’d be really keen to hear your thoughts as Zwift Power says I won by 0.006 seconds!

It happens all the time. What you see on your own screen might not quite match what Zwift’s servers say, because it’s your Zwift game app drawing what it thinks are the correct positions.

You also don’t know what the other riders saw. They may have seen you in the lead. Isn’t that fun.

There’s a lag. Data about what you are doing has to get to Zwift, data about what others are doing has to get back down to you. Its not real-time, the true result is always a little delayed. So don’t, like some in real life sprinters, ever sit up and celebrate your win/or stop trying because you think you’ve already lost.
