CTS Training Course

Hey Guys,

I am using a Wahoo Kickr and it works great with Zwift as you can imagine.

I tried my first CTS Race Course yesterday, the Time Trial course. It was okay, but I think there is something wrong with the CTS training course or programming or may with Zwift. At one point in the ride I’m asked to maintain 175 watts for one minute and then near the end of the course I had to maintain 230 watts for 15 seconds. 

The problem was that I was in the big ring and 11 cog for both. I was well over 110 rpm for 175 watts and when I had to do 230 watts I spun out. I just couldn’t spin that fast to get up to that wattage successfully and maintain it properly. Now I’m a “pedal in circles” guy, but during this exercise I was bouncing on the saddle.

Am I doing something wrong or is there something else wrong. I’m not keen on a repeat of that any time soon and would just assume ride a regular ride than go through that again.
