It would be cool to have crowds lining some of the big climbs like in the tours. Force the riders into the the middle of the crowds to get the feeling of excitement and Adrenalin.
Maybe line the last 1-3K max of the climb with crowds of people, vans, the devil and others.

Something odd happened to my avatar’s road position last night on London - going through the “tube line” section my bike was pushed into the middle of the road and into the oncoming bike traffic coming the other way - must have had at least 50 “collisions” during that stretch.
