Did a crit race today. Pretty good, here’s a suggestion or two:
- How about a lap card? There may have been one, but I didn’t see it.
- Flag the riders you are lapping? It took me a while to figure out that (1) I was lapping riders and (2) riders were lapping me.
- Crit riding is all about cornering. Coast through the corner and accelerate out of it. How about requiring riders to coast around a corner? (Make 'em crash if they pedal too hard?)
