I’ve had my Core Body Temp sensor configured and working appropriately since it was initially rolled out (i.e., connect the CORE as a HRM via BLE, add a widget in the HUD for temp). However, a couple of days ago (before the 1.106 update but after the roll out of the workout recommendations), Zwift stopped displaying my heart rate when the Core is connected as the HRM.
To be clear, the Core successfully connects and I can see my body temperature, but no HR is displayed.
In troubleshooting, I have connected my HRM to Zwift via BLE and my heart rate is displayed correctly. Additionally, I have validated that my Core is connected to my HRM as confirmed by navigating into the Core app on my phone and seeing the live connection to the HRM and noting that the values there match what is displayed in game.
My setup is:
Core Body Temp Sensor V1
Garmin HRM-Pro Plus
The HRM is connected to the Core via ANT+ and the Core is connected to Zwift via BLE. I’m on a Windows PC.
did you manage to connect the hrm separately to zwift after the bug appeared? I have a polar verity sense and a core2 sensor, and when the bug appeared on todays ride, I did not manage to connect only the hrm. please share how you did it if you succeeded. thanks!
I understand there’s a fix in the next release, I’m just adding this for information…
I have the same, but with a core2 and a polar h10. It’s been puzzling me until now. I did exactly the same, confirming signal/pairing in the core app - unpairing hrm and the removing core sensor and, in the polar app - factory reset to hrm sensor. No difference.
I re-installed the app, tried a new battery and a different hrm, no difference again. This has wasted a lot of my time.
Connected to hrm directly in zwift in the end, but I cannot get hr and temp together in zwift at the moment, which is annoying.
Is there a workaround? Roll back? Any kind of hack?
How long will it be until we get the next release?
