Constant Popup Bug [October 2025]

I’m experiencing a very annoying in game bug on MacOs (Version 26.0.1) and Zwift (1.99.0 153089). When in a race, training or free ride I constantly get the popup “Heads up!” with the message “Your smart trainer currently doesn’t support virtual shifting. However, you can still use your controllers for other actions within Zwift.”

This occurs repeatedly every 5-10s until I exit the ride. It also covers the in game menu making it hard to use the controller for actions during a race.

I wonder if your controls are faulty. I assume you are not trying to use virtual shifting, right? Stuck buttons are a common failure mode for Play controllers. I think that message is shown too aggressively even when everything is working as designed but it’s supposed to only appear when the shift button is pressed
