It sounds very much like a development issue to me, and I can only assume that message about the map being unavailable is the intended functionality for now.
I’ve reached out to higher technical authority on the team, however, so I’ll do my best to get confirmation for you.
I heard back from the team and confirmed that what you’ve reported was a known issue, and I’ve been told it should be resolved as of the ZC app update that just came out within the last 24 hours.
