In Companion (Android), when I navigate away from the map to, for example, Zwifters near me to see the profile of a Zwifter, I should be able to use the Android ‘back’ button repeatedly to return to the map. In other words, while in-game and riding, the map should be my default menu home.
Are you asking for ZCA to override the basic functionality of the Android OS?
No, not my intent. I’m not a mobile app dev person, but what I think makes sense is for the MAP screen to be the home screen when I’m in-game. Selecting DASHBOARD, ZWIFTERS, or MESSAGES would push those onto the stack accordingly. So if I navigate to ZWIFTERS and then to a specific in-game rider, I could press ‘Back’, ‘Back’ and end up at the MAP home screen. (In the current version it would be ‘Back’, then ‘MAP’, which is a little clumsy to stab while riding hard/out of the saddle.)
Seems intuitive to me that the Map should be the home screen while riding, rather than the Zwift app home screen (Fitness Trends/Next Up/Learn & Earn…). The fact that the Map comes up automatically when riding supports that.
