Zwift confirmed that this is a bug: “After reviewing your case, we’ve confirmed that this behavior aligns with a known issue our team is currently investigating. Please rest assured that we are actively working on a resolution.”
Once agin when I am creating a banded meetup with five of my friends—- none of us are even offered the opportunity to take a coffee break . The icon isn’t even visible at all. When doing events and riding alone on a route it is, however visible. This needs to be fixed.
When will the coffee break button be fixed in group meet ups? It’s been missing for a couple of weeks that I know of.
Did a meet up today (3/28/26) and coffee stop wasn’t available.
Not sure why your bug report was moved to the “What’s New” forum.. actually by this point it should be put into “Known Issues” ?

It’s been long enough already that Zwift HQ should have seen, and acknowledged the issue by moving the bug reports to a Known Issues separate thread by now. AFAIK, they haven’t responded to this issue as yet.
Coffee breaks have not been available during the last two banded meet-up rides that I’ve organized. The button is not visible to me or any of the other participants. These are meet-up’s with a group of us who are friends, not a race a workout or anything competitive. This is a new issue. What happened?

As this is still not converted into a “Known Issue” thread, does this imply Zwift doesn’t treat the uncoffee’d banded meetup as an issue? (and given they haven’t acknowledged this as yet)?

Thank you @Wannie for the tag here. I’ve moved all of the reports out of that original thread into this dedicated Known Issue thread and we have shared the urgency with the developers so they can investigate this known issue.
It is May 2026 and there are still NO coffee breaks enabled in banded or un banded group rides. This is not good customer service for serious cyclists/training on rides taking several hours to complete. Please fix this issue asap! I completed four horseman this weekend in just over 4 hrs with NO option to take a break.

Are you sure about that? Last reports were that the problem solely resides with banded meetups. Not sure about unbanded meetups, but afaik, coffee stops work with regular group rides that are either banded or unbanded (regular).
I think you are right but people often confuse meetups with group rides.
This is only the case for banded meetups.
Coffee Stop definitely works on banded group events (both club and public).
Or it’s been forgotten that there needs to be another rider nearby to latch onto for a coffee break.
It’s definitely a bug.
definitely, but I read.. 4 hour ride, and possibly unbanded. Likelihood of another rider being nearby = not huge.
