Sometimes when I end an event and go straight to a Bot I get a full 3 minute coffee break immediately if I want it. Sometimes I get only a 30 second coffee break. Does anyone know why? What determines this? TIA
Could be if you are ending a competitive event/race where a coffee stop is not allowed that you only get the shorter 30 sec break after leaving?

The 30 second coffee break is within the first 5 mins of riding. Its for picking up the bottle you forgot on the table etc.
The 3 min coffee stop comes after 30 mins of cycling, and repeats again from the end of the coffee stop after 30 mins.
You may find that you carried over your allocated times from the previous ride when flipping to the Robo, the 3 min stop, or it thinks its a fresh connection and gives you the 30 secs.
That changed in game version 1.108 to 5 minutes delay. I haven’t tested the scenario that Al is describing so I’m unsure if that is the normal way of things.
On social rides that I’ve been on you cannot start the CB if there is less than 5 minutes on the clock or 5km to complete. During the 5 minute “cool down” after the ride the CB is not available. If you finish that 5 minute cool down the clock restarts and you get a 30 second CB right away and after 5 minutes the 3 minute CB is available.
Except that’s not how it’s working. The only difference is one event was 90 minutes. The other event is 70 minutes. Other than that the scenarios are identical. I finish the cooldown and transported to a Bot. After the 90 minute ride I get an immediate 3 minute coffee break. After the 70 minute ride (also completing the cooldown) I get 30 seconds.
Though now that I think of it this may be correct. On the 90 minute ride I generally do 5 minutes past the cooldown. On the 70 minute ride I do not.
No idea WHY they do it that way but I’ll bet this is correct.
