This is an issue I reported back in January of 2024. Over a year later it still has not been fixed.
When my climb portal climbs are exported to Garmin the name is not correct. I have to manually update the name in Garmin Connect. For example, last Saturday I rode Hardknot Pass. It should have exported to Garmin as:
Climb Portal: Hardknott Pass at 100% Elevation in France
Instead it just says Thio Virtual Cycling. This is what it looks like in the Garmin app (on my iPad):
On Monday I rode Rocacorba. The title should have exported to Garmin as:
Climb Portal: Rocacorba at 100% Elevation in Watopia
But instead it just says: Virtual Cycling
