Change Resistance/Incline at intersection during a workout Non ERG

I am bring this up again, I saw the other posts are already archived.

This happen when you do a workout with ERG OFF you can’t manually change the resistance/incline while the turn indicator is showing onscreen.

When not using ERG mode, I need to change the trainer resistance manually, this can be done in a few ways

  1. pressing the button on the ZML app
  2. ± keys on my keyboard
  3. the buttons of my trainer head unit.

But, when there are a turn and we need to select which way to go I can’t change resistance not with one of the 3 methods, the ZML buttons change to turn signals and the other two options is temporary disabled.

This STILL hasn’t been fixed. It’s astonishing. It’s the one reason I’ve cancelled Zwift in favour or simpler apps. An interval starting or ending at an intersection happens very often, and the “which turn do you want” prompt comes up mid-workout no matter what route you’ve selected. Who in their right mind cares which way your fake avatar turns in a fake world more than getting their 30-second recovery between reps? Does the Zwift team think everyone always uses erg mode or something?
