My Zwift setup is an M1 Mac connected to a TV. I use the play controllers for navigation and therefore do not use the mouse or keyboard. When doing a free ride I will get the pop up to click for route options near intersections, however, I cannot access the menu with any of the buttons on the Play controllers. Am I missing something or is this a limitation?

Welcome to the forums! This is Monica from Zwift. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble using your Zwift Play to access the menu. To resolve this issue, please ensure that both the game and the Zwift Play firmware are updated to the latest versions. Additionally, I recommend performing a hard reset of the Zwift Play controllers by holding the big Z button on the affected controllers for 30 seconds. This should completely restart the unit.

I figured it out. Prompt requires using left right arrows to show route options, not pushing A to select.
