Can you put a training plan on hold?

I’m three weeks into the half marathon training plan and very happy with how its progressing but I have no plans to actually run a half marathon. I’m just doing it to improve. I’m going on a fishing trip in a couple of weeks and won’t be able to run for a little over a week. Is there a way to put the training plan on hold while I’m gone and start out again where I left off, or maybe a week behind?
