I’ve had too many issues with my play controllers and I’ve decided I really don’t need them. How can I remove them from the pairing screen? Before I had the play controllers, I’d go to the game automatically after all devices were found. Now I hang on the pairing screen until I press OK. Not a big deal, but is there a way to edit the Zwift config files to skip looking for the controllers?
Depends on what you are running the game on, but if it’s a PC or Mac you should remove Documents\Zwift\knowndevices.xml
Anything else, or if that doesn’t work, follow the reinstall instructions: Re-Installing Zwift
If the Play controllers are within warranty you can get replacements by contacting support
If you don’t turn on the Play controllers, do they still show up on the pairing screen? Or take out the batteries, etc.?
Thanks for that info. I deleted the play controllers and several other devices from that list that are no longer in use. Over 5 years I created a long list of “devices” using different bikes, sensors and trainers.
