Binding Arbitration

Zwift is changing its EULA (no link allowed, but can be found under " Support → Account & Orders → Legal → Terms of Service"

Among the changes, they are forcing everyone to use “binding arbitration” instead of a class arbitration. In short, this means that if they screw up big, we are no longer allowed to file a class action suite.
Class action suites are mechanism to level the resources of individuals vs corporations, so this move is VERY MUCH any users.

At the moment, it is still possible to opt-out of arbitration (clause L on the EULA above), but can only be done 30 days after Jan-31.

I strongly suggest for everyone to opt out. The process is:

l.Opting Out of Arbitration. You have the right to opt out of binding arbitration within 30 days of the date you first accepted these Terms by emailing legal@zwift.com. To be effective, the opt-out notice must include your full name, mailing address, and email address. The notice must also clearly indicate your intent to opt out of binding arbitration in order to be valid. By opting out of binding arbitration, you are agreeing to resolve disputes in accordance with Section 19.

Thanks! We have a few lawyers in the group who actually enjoy reading what the rest of us would rather avoid.
