Bianchi bikes

Keeping the request alive… Can we expect Bianchi bikes in the future?

Recently with Jumbo Visma organising more group rides, this game could really need some celeste bikes.

Today I saw in the events that the Merida Scultura is mentioned in the description of the Team Bahrain McLaren ride so… Bianchi next? If Merida will be the next brand in the game, then every pro team on Zwift will have their bike brand except for Jumbo Visma if I’m not mistaken.

Oltre, Infinito, Specialissima, Sprint, Aquila… C’mon.

+1 Specialissima!

I use a celeste Bianchi for every Zwift ride I do!

It’s only a via nirone, but it’s my dedicated trainer bike.

Yes i agree! Would love to see atleast the most famous Brands in the Shop instead of local brands that are not well-known worldwide. I don’t lie when i say i never saw a Parlee, Ribble, Diamondback, Chapter2, Ventum or Cube in my country on the road. So they might be very famous brands, but not as famous as Merida, Bianchi, De Rosa, Aargon18, Kona, Jamis, Lapierre, Cipollini, Vitus, Wilier or Colnago. There is more than 10 different Specialized bikes on Zwift but not one Bianchi.

Probably cause Speci pays for this kind of Ad and Bianchi don’t

Or do you think, Zwift designs virtual bikes and shows them in their game (=Ad) for free?

Good point but it’s not that the users are playing for free and than there is adds to make up for it. We pay a good amount of money for this. There might be brands that don’t want to be in Zwift and don’t give out permission, but the developers know if this is the case or not. If it’s not i still want to see bianchi bike in 2020.

Again, if the pro team that uses your bikes is having events on Zwift… then why not go further? Would be good marketing & motivation to earn drops.

Good point about the sponsorship deals that are involved (therefore all the American brands) but I agree with Nicola: you already pay a good amount of money each month. Almost each pro team is holding group rides. Adding a couple of new brands is the least you can do.

From the website of Merida Bikes a month ago btw: "Today will be the first ride of Team Bahrain McLaren’s #RideAsOne series on Zwift. The first rider ‘out of the block’ will be no other than Mark Cavendish.

The #RideAsOne series is presented by MERIDA and will be the first event where the team jerseys will be seen on the platform. For now, the team will be riding on the non-branded Zwift bikes, but we are working closely with Zwift, so that the team and other riders will be using the matching team bikes in the near future."

My eyes weren’t deceiving me

BIANCHI x ZWIFT
Make it happen. haha

Agree! I would like to see at least some Bianchi bicycles represented. As the oldest bicycle company in existence, founded by Edoardo Bianchi in 1885 in Milan, Italy. The closest being Willier bikes, which was founded in 1906. Bianchi is an iconic brand that represents not just the company, but the entire bicycle industry and its innovations as a whole having pioneered the use of equal-sized wheels with pneumatic rubber tires. Bianchi, and the iconic Celeste #227 color (which legend details as being designed to match Regina Margherita of the Savoia Royal House’s eyes) are synonymous with bicycling and represent all of the bicycling companies that followed, to include other iconic brands which are already represented on Zwift, like Pinarello and Colnago. For Bianchi not to be represented is, IMHO, to exclude the bicycling industry history and pedigree as a whole. Considering that Zwift is built on, and represents both, running and cycling platforms, well… is that really how Zwift would choose to represent its allegiance with bicycling as a whole?

I would formally like to see my Bianchi Aria (in Celeste 227) and the Bianchi Oltre Xr4 represented, if only two models could be represented. Both of these bikes have been fairly well received by cyclists, and I believe would be a great start in the representation of such an iconic brand, in its industry/world recognizable iconic color of Celeste #227 (which while appearing as green, is actually identified by its Italian name of Celeste, as being more of a sky blue, thus matching Queen Margherita’s eyes).

Contact Bianchi and hassle them to get their bikes into Zwift.

It’s down to Bianchi, not Zwift.

Great this post is getting picked up again, folks!
I’ve mailed them once but never got a reply…

The replied to me, after a couple of days with the below:
" Hi Lee,

Thank you for reaching out to us about the Bianchi bikes.

I’ve passed your request on to the dev team, but we also encourage you to share your thoughts on the Zwift Forums at…

The forums are a great place to get more community support for an idea and gain attention from our dev team. The more attention an idea receives, the more likely it’ll get implemented into Zwift. You may find many members have the same thoughts and ideas as you!

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

RIDE ON!"

I would love to ride my Oltre xr2 in-game aswell.
Tho the model of oltre isn’t important, i would atleast love to have it be celeste with black letters.
