Battery drain after ride

My wife’s phone has severe battery drain after she uses the app on her iPhone6s Plus.  She closes ALL her apps, after the ride and within 45 minutes her batter has completely drained down. 

Are there any know issues with the app continuing to connect/attempt to connect/remain connected even after the app is closed?  This happens both when she remains at home within ranger her Kicker, or if she leaves and is not in range.

This is very frustrating for her.

Hi Scott

There has been some talk of batteries draining after apps have been closed.

There may be another method but I tend to restart the phone to clear any issues post app use.
