Riding New York yesterday and a rider in front appeared to have a trainer (illuminated light blue) attached to his virtual bike. Same as when you’re spinning and waiting for an event to start but this was dragging along the road behind the bike. It didn’t appear to be slowing him down anyway as he rode away from me pretty quickly!
I’ve seen this as well, but haven’t been able to find any references telling me what this is.
LOL. I’ve seen this happen once or twice and get a good laugh out of it.
“Dang that person is strong!”
I suspect that this happens when the person is whisked away to the starting paddock for an event. They always seem to vanish shortly after the ghost trainer appears on their bike.
